Scholz Garten

Established in 1866, Scholz Garten is Texas's oldest continuously operating tavern and a historic Austin gathering spot. Located near the State Capitol and the University of Texas campus, it features a leafy outdoor biergarten serving classic German sausages, schnitzel, and local craft beers. It remains a popular hub for community events, political watch parties, and game-day celebrations.
