History

Once the residence of Virginia and Harry Robinson of the Robinson's department store fame, the estate was built in 1911 and became the first luxury estate in Beverly Hills. After Virginia's death in 1977, the property was entrusted to Los Angeles County and has since been a public garden and historical site.
