Mapparium

Located inside the Mary Baker Eddy Library at the Christian Science Center in Boston, the Mapparium is a world-famous, three-story stained-glass globe. Visitors walk across a 30-foot glass bridge inside the globe to view a three-dimensional world map as it appeared in 1935. The unique spherical acoustics create extraordinary whispering-gallery sound effects as you move through the exhibit.
