Opened in 2008 and named after Chef Roberto Paciullo's hometown area code (089) of Salerno, Italy, Zero Otto Nove is an antique-style Italian restaurant. The place is famous for not only its authentic Italian fare but also the overall "Salerno" experience with exposed brick, whitewashed arches, and a huge pizza oven in the center. It's one of the prettiest restaurants in New York City. It serves many Italian staples such as antipasti, salads, pasta & risotto, fish, meat, and side dishes but Pizza is the must-try dish. The mozzarella comes from the famed "Casa Della Mozzarella" on the daily basis. The interior of the restaurant offers a vibrant, courteous, and welcoming experience to the guests but their location in Little Italy takes the overall experience up a notch.
