Pies n Thighs started as a tiny kitchen in 2006 in place of a beer storage closet with six stools, serving huge donuts, two-napkin smoked pork sandwiches, and salty, crispy fried chicken. The restaurant has received numerous accolades for its dishes, especially baked goods, and comfort food. All the products used for cooking are antibiotic and authentic. The restaurant takes the cooking inspiration from classic American dishes, Mexican and Californian cuisine, and the Slow Food movement’s attention to ingredients.
