Built in the late 19th century by Father John Velghe, the church features hand-painted interior murals depicting biblical scenes and tropical landscapes. History
Originally built in 1899, the church was repurposed and transformed by Father Velghe between 1936 and 1938, who painted the enchanting murals that now attract visitors from around the world.
