Thalia Hall
Website Directions 312-526-3851

Originally built in 1892 as a neighborhood opera house, Thalia Hall is a historic performance venue in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. Today, the restored hall hosts a diverse slate of live music, comedy shows, and community events. Attendees can enjoy top-tier acoustics, clear sightlines, and an intimate atmosphere inside one of the city's landmark music halls.

Quick tip: Check show schedules in advance and purchase tickets early, as popular performances often sell out.

Expert notes

  • All seated tickets are first-come, first-served for the performances. Guests should plan to arrive early to get the best seats or to ensure that a large party is all seated together. Most shows don't require any seats; they are enjoyd while standing on the floor. Plenty of parking is available; 18th street offers meter parking, while Racine does not require permits or meters. Free street parking is also available along the train tracks on 16th street between Ashland and Racine.
