Akaka Falls State Park

Located along the Hamakua Coast of Hawaii's Big Island, ʻAkaka Falls State Park features a scenic 0.4-mile paved loop footpath that winds through a dense tropical rainforest filled with bamboo, ferns, and orchids. The accessible trail leads visitors to viewpoints overlooking the breathtaking 442-foot ʻAkaka Falls as well as the nearby 100-foot Kahuna Falls. It offers an easy, family-friendly walk with incredible botanical scenery and towering waterfall panoramas.
