Barnsdall Art Park

Perched atop Olive Hill in East Hollywood, Barnsdall Art Park offers sweeping views of Los Angeles, the Hollywood Sign, and Griffith Observatory. The historic park complex is home to Frank Lloyd Wright's iconic Hollyhock House, the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, and a gallery theater. History

Barnsdall Art Park was founded by Aline Barnsdall, who donated the park and its buildings to the City of Los Angeles in 1927. The Hollyhock House, the centerpiece of the park, was built between 1919 and 1921 and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
