El Capitan Theatre

History

Opened in 1926, El Capitan Theatre began as a live stage theater. It was converted into a cinema in the 1940s. The theater underwent a major restoration in the 1980s to bring back its original opulence, spearheaded by The Walt Disney Company and Pacific Theatres.
