Gold Coast Railroad Museum

Located next to Zoo Miami, the Gold Coast Railroad Museum preserves railway history through a fascinating collection of over 40 historic train cars and locomotives. Visitors can step inside vintage interiors, including the famous Ferdinand Magellan railcar used by several U.S. presidents. History

The museum was founded in 1957 and is situated on the site of the former Miami Army Airfield. It has grown significantly over the years, preserving and displaying various historic railroad artifacts and equipment, including the famous Ferdinand Magellan train.
