Huntington Beach State Park

Located along the South Carolina coast in Murrells Inlet, Huntington Beach State Park offers pristine oceanfront beaches, freshwater marshes, and maritime forests. Visitors can hike scenic nature trails to spot local wildlife, visit the nature center, or tour the historic Moorish-style Atalaya Castle. History

Established in 1960, this park is part of the former estate of the influential Huntington family, who contributed significantly to the preservation of the area’s natural landscape.
