Eaton Canyon Nature Center

Located at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains in Pasadena, Eaton Canyon Nature Center serves as an educational community hub for local natural history and outdoor recreation. The facility features live animal displays, taxidermy, interactive flora and fauna exhibits, and a knowledgeable information desk. Outside, visitors can access miles of scenic trails winding through native chaparral and along stream-fed canyon routes leading to Eaton Canyon Falls.

History

Eaton Canyon has a rich history, once serving as a significant area for the local Native American tribes. The Nature Center itself was established to educate the public about the canyon's natural environment and to preserve the area's biodiversity.
