Located in the basement of the Fairmont San Francisco, the Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar is a legendary tiki lounge. Guests enjoy Pacific Rim cuisine and Mai Tais around a central lagoon featuring periodic simulated tropical rainstorms. A live band performs atop a floating barge, creating a truly unique retro nightlife experience.

- Famous for one of the city’s best and strongest Mai Tai and exceptional daiquiris, pina Coladas, and margaritas, the menu features Asian-inspired tiki-themed food. It truly is a San Francisco bucket list; locals and tourists come to this place for the strong cocktail drinks and unique experience of the unique experience of seeing a live performance on the floating stage in the middle of a swimming pool at the basement of the hotel. Faux palm trees, rain, and thunderstorms every 30 minutes add a unique charm to this rainforest adobe.
