Tongva Park

Located just steps from the Santa Monica Pier, Tongva Park is a lush six-acre urban park named in honor of the indigenous Tongva people. Designed with striking modern architecture, winding pathways, and native plant gardens, it features unique cocoon-like observation decks with ocean views, a children's play area, and a splash pad. History

Named after the indigenous Tongva people who once inhabited the Los Angeles Basin, Tongva Park stands on land that was transformed from an asphalt parking lot to a vibrant public park, officially opening to the public in 2013.
