Central Florida Railroad Museum

History

The Tavares and Gulf Railroad Depot, built in 1913, served as a hub for the thriving citrus industry. The depot was restored and transformed into the Central Florida Railroad Museum in 1983, preserving the legacy of rail transportation in Central Florida.
