The West Orange Trail is a 22-mile paved multiuse greenway stretching through suburban and rural communities west of Orlando. Popular with cyclists, runners, and walkers, the trail features shaded tree canopies, park stations, playgrounds, and scenic vistas. Visitors can easily stop along the route in downtown Winter Garden to explore local shops and outdoor cafes.

History

The West Orange Trail was established on the historic Orange Belt Railway corridor. The railway, which ceased operations in the late 20th century, has since been transformed into a scenic pathway for recreational use.
