Located near Rocky Mountain National Park in Allenspark, Saint Catherine's Chapel on the Rock is a striking historic stone chapel built directly atop a natural rock outcrop. Famous for surviving area wildfires and mudslides, as well as hosting Pope John Paul II in 1993, the chapel remains an active landmark and serene place of reflection. Visitors can admire its magnificent stonework, enjoy views of Mount Meeker, and explore the peaceful surrounding grounds of Camp St. Malo.

Quick tip: Arrive between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM Tuesday through Sunday to go inside the chapel, and use the pull-off parking along Highway 7 for the best exterior photos.
