Andrew Molera State Park

History

Andrew Molera State Park was established on land that had long been associated with the Molera family, one of the early ranching families in Big Sur. The park preserves part of that historic coastal ranch landscape while protecting a stretch of shoreline and surrounding habitat that remained relatively undeveloped compared with much of the California coast.
