Green Sand Beach (Papakolea Beach)

Papakōlea Beach, also known as Green Sand Beach, is a famous natural bay located on the southern coast of Hawaii's Big Island. Its distinctive olive-green hue comes from olivine crystals eroded from a 49,000-year-old volcanic cinder cone.
