History
Dedicated on April 25, 1993, by Gordon B. Hinckley, the San Diego California Temple is the 47th temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was constructed to serve the large LDS population in the area, symbolizing a significant milestone in the Church's expansion in Southern California.
