Crissy Field

Crissy Field is a restored waterfront park and former military airfield located along San Francisco Bay in the Presidio. Visitors can stroll or bike along the flat promenade, relax on the sandy beach, and explore the restored tidal marsh habitat. The area features expansive grassy lawns, picnic spots, and unmatched views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island.

Crissy Field West Bluffs is ideal for picnics, get-togethers, birthday parties, or any special occasion celebrations. There are many large picnic tables, barbeque pits, and unforgettable East Beach, Golden Gate Bridge, and Bay views. Crissy Marsh is an excellent place for nature lovers and a birdwatching hot spot. Adventure seekers can take 850 feet upstairs on Battery East Trail from Warming Hut Bookstore and Cafe for gorgeous views.
