Coyote Buttes

Coyote Buttes is a protected area located in the Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness of northern Arizona, rather than in Sedona. Managed by the Bureau of Land Management, it is world-famous for its colorful, undulating Navajo sandstone formations, including The Wave. Visitors can explore unique geologic landscapes, ancient dinosaur tracks, and remote backcountry trails across both the North and South permit zones.
