The Museum at Dumbarton Oaks

Located in Georgetown, The Museum at Dumbarton Oaks houses world-renowned collections of Byzantine and Pre-Columbian art alongside European masterpieces. History

Originally built in the early 19th century, Dumbarton Oaks was transformed into a cultural institution by Robert and Mildred Bliss in the 1940s. They donated the estate to Harvard University, which now manages it, preserving its legacy as a center for research and public enjoyment.
