Sheepeater Cliffs

Sheepeater Cliffs features dramatic columnar basalt rock formations created by ancient lava flows in Yellowstone National Park. Situated along the Gardner River between Mammoth Hot Springs and Norris Geyser Basin, this scenic stop offers a peaceful picnic area surrounded by river views and natural basalt structures.
