Cuchara Pass

Cuchara Pass, also known as Cucharas Pass, is located along Highway 12 in San Isabel National Forest rather than inside Great Sand Dunes National Park. Reaching an elevation of nearly 10,000 feet on the Highway of Legends Scenic Byway, the pass provides sweeping views of the Cuchara Valley and surrounding mountains.
