Madison Square Garden often called "MSG" or simply "The Garden" is the world's most famous arena hosting pro sport, concerts, and other big events. The “Arepa Lady” is a Colombian cuisine serving Arepas (corn cakes) and other signature dishes. It started as a late-night food cart decades ago by Maria Piedad Cano, an immigrant from Colombia, to support her children. Born in Medellin, Colombia, Cano began her career in the courtroom, as a lawyer and, eventually, judge. She came to the USA to start a new life away from drug lord Pablo Escobar's terror. In the beginning, she used to serve arepas on the street cart, the food was so flavorful that foodies started writing about it, a cult started! The arepa itself is crisp on the outside, and moist and creamy on the inside.
Prospect Park is a 585-acre largest public park in Brooklyn. The main attraction of the park includes a 90-acre long meadow, the picnic house, the prospect park zoo, the pre-existing home of Edwin Clark Litchfield, the prospect lake, and the old arches & bridges. The park also boasts a large number of historic buildings such as a restored 1912 carousel, the concert grove - also known as the Oriental Pavilion, the historic eighteenth-century Lefferts House, the Music Pagoda, the colonnaded Grecian Shelter. Domenico De Marco, or "Dom", opened Di Fara Pizza in 1965 after emigrating to Brooklyn from the Province of Caserta in Italy. Each pie of pizza is handcrafted by the master himself, Dom, who spent over 53 years perfecting his pizza.
