Greystone Mansion & Gardens: The Doheny Estate is a historic Tudor Revival mansion set within Beverly Hills. History

Commissioned by oil tycoon Edward L. Doheny as a gift for his son, Edward 'Ned' Doheny Jr., in 1928, Greystone Mansion is steeped in history and has been the site of many films and cultural events. Despite its glamorous use today, the estate was marked by tragedy when Ned Doheny and his secretary, Hugh Plunkett, were found dead in a guest bedroom in an apparent murder-suicide, only months after the family moved in.
