Grant Park

Known as 'Chicago's Front Yard,' Grant Park spans over 300 acres along Lake Michigan in downtown Chicago. This expansive urban park is home to major city attractions, including Buckingham Fountain, Millennium Park, and world-class museums like the Art Institute of Chicago. Visitors can stroll along tree-lined paths, enjoy skyline views, or attend major festivals hosted on its sprawling lawns throughout the year.

• Check out the Taste of Chicago - an extensive food and music festival if visiting around Independence Day. The Skate Park at the southwest corner of the park features 1.86 acres of open recreational space for skateboarding, biking, and rollerblading. Grant park is an excellent place for a picnic.
