Since 1983, The Chicago Diner in Lakeview has been a pioneer in vegetarian and vegan comfort dining. Known by its motto 'meat free since '83,' the casual spot serves hearty plant-based classics alongside award-winning dairy-free milkshakes. Note that while this original Halsted Street location remains open, its former Logan Square branch is permanently closed.
