Chrysler Building

The Chrysler Building is an iconic Art Deco landmark in Midtown Manhattan, renowned for its shimmering sunburst spire and ornate crown. Completed in 1930, this historic 77-story skyscraper briefly held the title of world's tallest building. While there is no public observation deck, visitors can admire its dramatic exterior and step into the lavishly decorated lobby on business days.

• The building lightens up at night, especially the 31st floor featuring silver winged ornaments designed as the cap of the God Mercury. The biggest attraction is a giant, beautiful mural painted on the lobby ceiling. It is an homage to the Golden Age of Aviation and the Machine Age. There is also a wall panel with figures of masons, carpenters, builders who built the building.
