Blue Jacket Park

Located at 2501 General Rees Ave near Baldwin Park, Blue Jacket Park spans 75 acres on the former site of the Orlando Naval Training Center. Visitors can enjoy wide-open green spaces, sports fields, a playground, covered picnic pavilions, and a paved loop trail surrounding stone structures and a central fountain. It provides a peaceful setting for outdoor recreation, community events, and family gatherings.

History

The park is named in honor of the men and women who served at the former Orlando Naval Training Center. Established in 2000, the park retains a rich naval legacy, with several monuments and memorials paying homage to its military past.
