Gatorland

Known as the Alligator Capital of the World, Gatorland is a classic 110-acre theme park and wildlife preserve in Orlando. Visitors can observe thousands of alligators and crocodiles, watch educational live shows, and see rare leucistic white gators. The park also features a breeding marsh boardwalk, a zipline over reptile enclosures, and an interactive splash area.

History

Gatorland was founded by Owen Godwin in 1949, and has been family-owned and operated since. It started as a small roadside attraction and has grown into a premiere destination for tourists worldwide.
